Otter Chaos

Otter Cubs Rescued

This year has been a busy year for the Scottish SPCA’s National Wildlife Rescue Centre in Fishcross, Clackmannanshire which has seen fourteen otters in need of rescuing. The latest trio were found on a roadside and at a flooded river bank in Brechin  and are being cared for by animal welfare officers.

Otter the Mouth of Danger

In spite of their difficult start in life the otter cubs are doing well and all are expected to be capable of a release to the wild in a year or so.  The fact that there are three in the group makes life easier for the animals as they are company loving creatures.

My favourite at the moment is the Zwartble Ram, Ewe & Lamb which is a limited edition of 350 pieces. Each figurine comes in a branded box and is presented with a numbered limited edition certificate and it is sculpted by the great Ray Ayres. At the moment it is even more affordable with our terrific offer price.
