Spirit of Christmas Draining Away as Children Lose Belief in Santa

Vile Rumour That Father Christmas Isn’t Real

The good folks at some polling organisation or another have quizzed children in the UK and found that kids these days are a horribly doubting lot. It seems that the culprit is the Internet and those naughty people at Google. The search engine was launched some eighteen years ago and since then the age that kids stop believing in Santa has been plunging.

Ho, Ho, Ho In Short Supply

When it all first started the children of Britain believed in the old man on a sleigh until they were nearly nine years old, but now it is under seven years. The magic is wearing off faster. Of course some nerds have drawn a graph and decided that by the middle of the century only three year olds will believe in Santa, only three months after cognitive development allows them to believe in anything. It would make you spit feathers!

Track Santa Yourself

Well we here at James Pirie not only believe in Santa, you should see the offers we’ve laid on to make the old geezer’s life easier, but we also have the means to track Father Christmas’s journey across the world. Those scamps at NORAD, when they are not blowing up the world have a wonderful tracker you can follow with the kids and grandkids on Christmas Eve. Here it is: http://www.noradsanta.org/
