Yes while you are enjoying the plenty of the harvest you’ll have those nagging worries about presents and BLACK FRIDAY. If you are in the USA you will be watching the Football game and beside the players getting blitzed, you will be getting bombarded with messages to buy buy buy! as soon as the turkey and all the trimmings have worn off. Even in the UK we are snowed under with supposed bargains for three days only. Bah! Humbug!
Well call me modern and not all old fashioned, except when it comes to cocktails where I do like an Old Fashioned, why do you have to stir a finger on this made up marketing day. Since 1621 Americans have celebrated the safe landing and eventual prospering of the Pilgrim Fathers, but some wiseacre recently decided it was unforgiveable to have a day where we didn’t go out and ransack the shops, and believe me some of the scenes from last year were like looters gone wild!
So gentle reader if you want to avoid the scrimmage at the cashier’s till and the seesaw fight over something you don’t really want I suggest you look at our bargains which have the decency to be worth calling bargains. And with our quality they’ll be around for many Thanksgivings to come.
