In No Time To Die, when Daniel Craig was Bond, the movie was filmed on the Ardverikie Estate, within the heavily forested Cairngorms National Park. When Bond and M, Judy Dench are running away from the latest villain in Skyfall they belt along the A82 near Glencoe where the Bond author’s family owned a lodge. The World Is Not Enough, the film famous for Q’s machine gun bagpipes, was partially set in Eilean Donan Castle, famous as a bulwark against the raiding Vikings which as we all know went on until the Battle of Largs in 1263. In From Russia With Love starring the beloved Sean Connery the boat chase sequence, was shot on Loch Craignish, near Crinan in Argyll, Scotland, doubling for the steamy Turkish coast, my there must have been some filter on the camera that day!
