Orkney Bogged Down in Smallest room
In Loo of Payment
It seems that Scandinavians are stranger creatures than we may have previously thought as a local former public loo goes on sale in Orkney. The toilet is a snug 28 ft by 9ft and loiters near the home of the late great George Mackay Brown in Stromness, a town name of course which is pure Scandinavian in itself. The loo is being sold by the local council.
An Inconvenient Truth
The convenience is convenient for the nearby Stromness Museum and hasn’t been used as a loo for five years, so old jokes about I would give it five have long been irrelevant. The former loo could be yours for as little as £5,000 of your Scottish pounds , but if you bought it without telling the wife she might kick up a bit of a stink.
Be More flush with Cash
Now if that sounds like a terrible waste of your hard earned cash then you should cast an eye over the really good stuff that is on sale right now and convenient to order. The new Daffodils Range of intaglio British crystalware is spring like and fresh and if you buy it while its on offer you’ll be flush with cash. It’s all hand cut and pretty darn good and worth a pretty penny.
