Let Your Fingers Do the Walking - Or Your Mouse Keep You in the House
If You Are Stuck at Home
I don’t know about you, but it has been near lethal to get out of the front door this week and the lane has been covered in ice. You take your life in your hands to merely venture to the post box to send those last minute cards, first class only now I’m afraid. But we are off to see the Northern Lights in Norway in February and so we have invested in the thingymabobs in the picture above. They strap onto your shoes and make it a lot safer and by and large stop the slipping and sliding on the road, but you wouldn’t want to wear them in the house and watch your prize parquet flooring get scratched. But I recommend them rather than sliding all the way to the shops.
And if you can’t get your hands on some of these handy Yaktrax in a hurry and you still need to do some last minute Christmas shopping then why not let your fingers do the walking and your mouse stay in the house to trawl the very extensive James Pirie website. We don’t use the posties at Royal Mail, so we are free of the industrial action and we do use the dependable boys and girls at DPD and we can work to almost the last minute to wing your gifts to the mainland. Remember it’s free delivery when you spend over £50. Gift wrapping is free too when you check the box at Check out and you can choose one of five fine wrapping papers and add a personal message. Our very good goods are instant heirlooms and have the advantage having many special, indeed sometimes half price offers!
If you or yours are trendy gin drinkers then our sensibly named GIN RANGE has something for almost everyone. Try the half price Skye - 2 Gin and Tonic Copa Glasses in a neat presentation box from Royal Scot Crystal. The Skye Gin and Tonic Copa Glass is perfect for drinking G&Ts and all gin based cocktails. The glass is designed to trap the aromas of the gin to give a finer taste to the drink. The large bowl allows for plenty of ice and lime in the glass adding to the flavour and keeping the drink chilled. It is supplied in charcoal glossy presentation boxes with a satin lining. It says fabulous gift!
