Want to Look Younger- Have a Gin
Anti-A-Gin, a Dream Come True?
A hotel group commissioned a television presenter to make some gin that will restore your skin with a collagen supplement. How cool is that? If you were brought up on the works of the London painter William Hogarth and his pictures of Gin Alley it will come as a shock. GIN is GOOD for You! Or so claim food designers and culinographers Bompas & Parr. Along with Channel 4’s Nicky Hambleton-Jones they have created the ultimate skin gin for those who don’t want to give up on alcohol.
Bye Bye Wrinkles?
The presenter said: “By including some classic botanicals known for their rejuvenating properties and combining it with drinkable collagen, it’s the alcoholic equivalent of a facial. I’ll drink to that!” And it is 40% proof.
Will it Repair Skin Damage
The gin is meant to help repair the damage done by sun and wind and as we know up here in the north our fair skins are very easy to damage in the sun. It is also claimed it helps smooth out cellulite.
Inside the cheeky gin drink the spirit has the scent of tea tree and chamomile, along with gotu kola, nettle and witch-hazel on a base of juniper, coriander and angelica root. Jings I’ll stick it in my next stew!
