For £200 I Got a View of a Big Head
For £200 I got a view of a man’s head.
Regular readers will know I am nuts about watching tennis that involves Sir Andy Murray the Flying Scotsman on a grass court. So I was greatly pleased to get Wimbledon Quarter Final tickets, despite their huge price of £200 each, thinking I would see the great man himself, but I was grievously disappointed when he was knocked out in the second round. But tickets are hard to come by and so we took the long and arduous trip to London SW19 , including a stay overnight, and settled down to watch the sporting marvels before our very eyes.
But what did I get for my £200 a ticket? Well you can see from the pic above I got a view of a very large man’s head. Of course the tennis that I did see was marvellous including the Ukrainian Svitolina winning against all conquering Swiatek and Rublev losing against the near invincible Djokovic. It was all every impressive as I leaned sideways to catch the flight of the ball either side of the huge bonce. It was even worse when he put his hat on!
