Exam Success Deserves Its Reward
It’s been awhile since I last had to sit an exam but unfortunately it isn’t the case for Scottish school children who got their exam results this week. The results for results for National, Higher and Advanced Higher exams were for the most part good news. Naturally these days female students did better than the boys, but there was plenty of success on the male side too and a record number of young Scots have been accepted into university according to the admissions service. There is the usual hoo-hah that exams should be scrapped from some people, but by and large the feel good factor was wide spread with slightly better results this year than last. .
For the successful candidates their certificates will arrive by first-class post while those with a MySQA account received their results by text and email. I don’t know about you, but I still have my exam results certificates as you never know when you might need to prove you can do maths or a science! Around 148,000 students across Scotland received their results for National, Higher and Advanced Higher exams on Tuesday. The number of pupils achieving an A, B or C grade at National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher was up across the boar. This year's exam results are the first under Scotland's new exams body - Qualifications Scotland
