Be My Palantine? What!
Oh dear just as I’m getting used to the world turned upside down there comes along another idea and my head spins again. I am in control of my emotions on the threat to invade Greenland. I can get to grips with the latest tourism offer of trips to famine ridden, despotic North Korea announced this week. I sort of understand the reason why Kanye West got his wife Bianca Censori to pop off her fur coat to say up yours to the Grammys. I kind of understand why 80s icon, and I use the term ironically, Timmy Mallett has become a tourism ambassador for Scotland, but my head is in overload at the idea of a Palantine Day. That is when the youngsters who don’t drink any more, they don’t do relationships much, but they like to send their friends small gifts and Palantine cards to show how much they care about their friends.
Well I guess I’m not down with the kids any more. When the Black Eyed peas have been around 30 years Time’s Arrow, that’s the term physicists use, is still flying. But if you want to show the person in your life that regardless of that you still care deeply about them then look no further. James Pirie has all the gifts that will withstand the tests of time. Some will become instant family heirlooms.
