A New Whisky and Whisky Bargains
The making of fine whisky, the original amber nectar, is incredibly traditional but it’s also an area of innovation and excellence. Fine distillers are forever looking for new ideas to make their product even more delicious and exceptional. And capture more of that whisky connoisseur market round the world. So now one long established Highland distillery has created a new nectar aged in American white oak casks rather than the traditional sherry casks.
The new single malt will be a one off and it has been aged in the American barrels for 24 years and it comes with a hefty price tag of some £400 a bottle of the delicious brew. The American white oak brew is matured in virgin casks in what they call first- fill Bourbon. This stuff, I can think of no kinder word for Bourbon, gives the oak a lightness of texture when the real McCoy is placed in it to mature. The makers think this lightness of taste and texture will be a massive hit with the whisky lovers of the world.
And another massive hit is the James Pirie we have significant reductions across a variety of ranges and so why not take a few moments to browse the lovely products we are proud to offer.
