Sam Heughan & Brandy Is for Heroes, but Brandy Glasses Are for Everyone

I don’t know if you have been keeping tabs on the wondrous Sam Heughan, who very definitely is in the hero mould. He has transformed himself into a media star and all round entrepreneur and he’s come a long way in a short time, with his books, his whisky, his performances in Outlander, the well know TV drama. He’s also filmed another series of Men in Kilts with Graham McTavish, who he slew in a previous series of the Highland history, but now they waltz around the world together in front of the cameras in a full kilty travel show.
Sam has a new RomCom called Love Again coming out with Priyanka Chopra-Jonas and Celine Dion which will be available on your Netflix screen on September 2. It’s been well received by Mr Heughan’s legion of female fans, but I’m not sure if it’s my cup of tea, I’ll have to wait until the missus gives me my opinion on it. The plot is pretty mawkish, but straightforward enough, when an attractive young woman tries to feel some relief from grieving for her dead fiancé by sending loving texts to his old mobile number. Naturally the number has been given to a new person, enter Sam Heughan. Gradually over the course of movie love blossoms and I suspect that all’s well that ends well except for the dead fiancé, that is, he still remains dead!
Now Sam is the archetypal hero and according to that notorious Englishman, Samuel Johnson brandy is the drink for them. Luckily for Johnson he had a Scot, James Boswell, to keep him in order and record his many sayings. I don’t suppose dear reader that you see yourself clambering across the heather fighting the Redcoats, but you might still fancy a decent brandy so we have made sure that you can have it in a lovely glass at a terribly reasonable price.
