Scotland Triumphs at the Oscar Ceremony

Up til now the place is world famous for fine whisky, but not chocolate.
It’s not so much a mom and pop business, but a mom and daughter business and its vegan assortment has proven just right for the Hollywood hordes. In just four and a half years since its establishment and from Campbeltown’s population of just 4,600 the chocolate business has garnered worldwide notice. Special treats have been designed for the year of Barbenheimer, the two most popular films being the spoof Barbie and the ultra serious Oppenheimer. All the chocolates are top notch vegan and natural with no alcohol, dairy, egg, gluten, soy or palm oil. I suppose that shows that the doubters are wrong and that Vegan chocs can be delicious. It wouldn’t surprise the other local celebrity the late lamented Linda McCartney, wife of Paul, who lived in the area in the 1970s and 80s and who championed vegetarianism and sustainability. So whoever wins the Oscars, Scotland has already taken the prize for the best chocs.
