Pick up Our Penguin and Light Up Your Life with Aurora

Scott of the Antarctic’s expedition to the wilds of the frozen continent in 1910-13 was the first to include detailed observations on the Adélie penguin by scientist George Murray Levick. But Levick was appalled by the scamps and wrote up his observations in Greek, lest they offend non-scientist types. However, penguins have cleaned up their image with those wondrous nature documentaries of penguins nursing eggs through the winter and swimming like tiny missiles away from the ravages of the horrible leopard seals. They even had their own Oscar winning movie with March of the Penguins, but until now lovers of porcelain penguins by Royal Crown Derby have only had Snowflake to adorn their shelves, mantelpieces and desks. But now our penguin is no longer an orphan as we reveal Snowflake’s mum Aurora. If you already have a piece of our penguin designer chic(k)you’ll want company for your porcelain baby.

Go with the Floe

She is designed by Tien Manh Dinh and modelled by Hilary Walker and this lovely piece is both affordable and adorable, it’s the  perfect complement to any shelf or desk.
