Andy Murray and Fight to Be Number 1

Watch out Novak Andy Murray is on your tail. From being the definitive second best to the Serb all this last year he has had the finest spell of tennis in his playing history. As they say in the broadsheets he has burned through China in dominant fashion. He won 10 straight matches that concluded in a 7-6, 6-1 victory in the Shanghai final against Roberto Bautista Agut. All without dropping a single set. So the Dunblane Scot is forging closer to the Serb and the margin is just 915 points, fewer than the 1,000 that Murray collected Shanghai.
