Well Done Sir Andy -

ATP Title First After Hip Surgery

Well, well would you believe it the kid from Dunblane has done it again.  Sir Andy has won another title and got himself back in the Davis Cup squad. Andy had already made his intentions clear that he wanted to play in the Davis Cup finals. His weekend win in three sets over Swiss meister  Stan Wawrinka to claim the European Open in Antwerp, made sure of his place in the Davis Cup team only seven singles tournaments into his comeback from hip surgery.

Murray Brothers at the Gallop

The finals will take place in Madrid in November in a new format that has received almost universal criticism. Davis Cup captain and coach Leon Smith announced four of his five-man team – the singles players Murray and Dan Evans, alongside the doubles pairing of Jamie Murray and Neal Skupski. The GB captain will chose between Cameron Norrie and Kyle Edmund soon. Edmund has been in a slump and he is on a seven-match losing streak and has fallen from No 14 to No 75 in the world. Indeed when I saw Kyle at Wimbledon this year he already seemed out of sorts.

Winning Combo

But here at James Pirie we are never out of sorts and so I am happy recommend a five star rated half price option for the discerning gift buyer.  It’s the Royal Scot Crystal - Flower of Scotland Ships Decanter in a great gift box. This ships decanter is part of Royal Scot Crystal's popular Flower of Scotland collection and is perfect decanter for port, brandy or any other spirit. Did I mention it was half price?
