Here is our internet First Foot.

 I am a dark haired male and I am bringing virtual and symbolic pieces of coal, shortbread, salt, black bun and a wee dram of whisky. The dark male bit is believed to be a throwback to the Viking days, when a big blonde stranger arriving on your door step with a big axe meant big trouble, and probably not a very happy New Year! I just bought myself an axe today as well, but for chopping wood for the log burner. I came with a log grenade and small chopper too!

On Hogmanay I had a gift from my son and his wife of a testing set of whiskies in dram sizes and I saved a 21 year old Islay for the big night and as always even the best is improved by lovely glassware.  I hope you were lucky enough to get a gift like mine, enjoy the selection below!
