Oh Dear Teenagers Are Unhappy

Survey of Young Grizzlers

It seems our young people are miserable when compared to the rest of the world. And if you are a parent, aunt or uncle then you will have been exposed to their teenage angst. If your only experience of ‘yoof’ is Harry Enfield and Kathy Burke in Kevin and Perry Go Large then you have escaped lightly.

It Takes a Worried Kid

British teenagers worry at school, worry they are too fat and worry that they drink too much alcohol, according to this worldwide study. It concludes that they are among the least satisfied with their lives compared with others of the same age around the world.

Modern Life Is Life is Relentless

And why are the kids so unhappy perhaps because they have super-glued themselves to their darn computers when they are not down at the ‘offie,’ The World Health Organisation report found that our 15-year-olds were among the least likely to report high levels of satisfaction with their lives, with only children from Poland and Macedonia being less satisfied. Scottish 15-year-olds felt most pressured by schoolwork in the UK. Well it is time to do your bit for the those unhappy teenagers and stay on the computer for a little bit longer and preserve their mental health and choose some life affirming stuff for the house or for a friend or family member. So for that I think we have to go to those fine people at Border Arts and choose something uplifting for the spirits

Uplifting Stuff

This is 'Sleepy Heads'. The young pups have wandered off to find adventure. Having found a new friend, all the excitement and exertion has meant that they now need a nap. After a long search, their anxious parents have finally found their little 'sleepy heads'. Well you may need have to have a little bit of imagination to picture your pups as loveable as these, but remember not so long ago when they were wee and terribly cute.
