Best Luxury Coronation Souvenir - According to Top People's Newspaper
Now we will be getting big heads if we are not careful. Hot on the heels of being featured on ITV’s This Morning Live in a feature entitled Coronation “Memorabilia Worth Collecting” and our fabulous cut crystal paperweight with the Royal CR cipher designated as a “future antique,” by the ITV show we are in the news again. And it’s not the hit TV show Bridgerton either, even though our glassware is to the fore in all their romantic period party scenes.
This time it’s not TV’s Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield going gangbusters over our fine goods, it’s the top people’s newspaper the Daily Telegraph, blowing our trumpet for us. They have us as the Best Luxury Souvenir and no lesser light than the amazing pottery designer Emma Bridgewater says: ”It’s a very special one, I always say that you should not make dust gatherers. I love the idea of making things that people use. Anita Lo says: “ It’s worth as much as it looks. This is a lovely example as it is hand cut and made of crystal,” adding, “Collectors look for rare examples that are limited edition, antique or bespoke.” You can see the on-line article in the picture above, or search the Daily Telegraph website and see the review and recommendation in all its glory.
The scribes at the Daily Telegraph think that if you are looking for something a bit more indulgent to mark the coronation then this might do the trick. I think they are onto something with this. They also think it is fairly priced at 175 of the new king’s pounds and is classified at best luxury souvenir.
