This elegant Lily Vase, part of the Flower of Scotland collection, features a beautifully hand-engraved thistle design, the iconic national flower of Scotland. The classic Lily shape, with its slender neck and flared lip, adds a touch of sophistication to any space, while the thistle motif brings a touch of Scottish pride.
Legend has it that a sleeping party of Scottish warriors were saved from ambush by an invading Norse army when one of the attackers trod on a thistle with his bare feet. His cries raised the alarm, the roused Scots duly defeated the invaders, and the thistle was adopted as the symbol of Scotland.
Supplied in midnight blue gift boxes with gold foil blocking.
