Flower of Scotland Glass Paperweight (Thistle) (Floral) 80mm | Caithness Glass

The Flower of Scotland Paperweight by Caithness Glass is an exquisite and evocative tribute to the nation's proud emblem, the Thistle. This stunning spherical paperweight encapsulates the spirit and beauty of Scotland in a truly unique art glass form. Handcrafted with precision and artistry, this paperweight features a stylised, three-dimensional representation of the Scottish Thistle at its heart. The bloom is often depicted in rich purples and blues, rising from a base of swirling, vibrant greens and deep teals that evoke the rugged landscapes, lochs, and skies of Scotland.

The artistic manipulation of glass creates a captivating scene: the vibrant colours appear to 'grow' from within the piece, often surrounded by delicate air bubbles that add depth and a sense of movement. The clear, polished exterior magnifies the intricate details, allowing light to dance through the colours and highlight the ethereal beauty of the Thistle.

More than just a decorative object, this paperweight is a potent symbol of Scottish heritage and national pride. It makes an exceptional gift for collectors of art glass, those with a special connection to Scotland, or as a distinguished souvenir. A timeless piece, it adds elegance and a touch of Scottish charm to any desk, shelf, or display. Each paperweight is handcrafted by Caithness artisans in Crieff, making this the perfect Scottish gift for you or someone you love. Each paperweight is carefully wrapped and boxed in a branded Caithness box.
