Rosslyn Chapel In Winter - Exclusive Ltd Edition!
Lilliput Lane
Product Code : LL434

Founded in 1446, the Collegiate Chapel of Matthew - aka Rosslyn Chapel - is famous for the mysterious symbolism of its richly ornate stonework and detailed carvings, which has attracted the attention of artists, authors and conspiracy theorists from all around the world, with its most notable apperance being in the novel and movie versions of Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code.

The Chapel was the brain child of Sir William St Clair, 3rd Price of Orkney who, 'with his age creeping upon him...', according to one reference, 'came into his mind to build a house for God's service, of most curious work... that it might be done with greater glory and splendour.' Sadly, taking some forty years to build, the building was not completed until after Sir William's death in 1484 - but splendid it most certainly is!

This limited edition, with certificate included, has been given a dusting of snow and is exclusive to James Pirie of St Andrews.
